Junkk.com: useful resource for recycling & reusing
March 10th, 2010 Blog
Here at WDIDWT, we’re looking to develop our site into a good and authoritative resource of information regarding green power, recycling surplus material and generally reducing waste wherever possible.
Whilst searching the web for various sites in the same vein, we found Junkk.com – a resource for all things environmental. A bit of mutual cross-promotion ensues, but quite frankly we think they’re doing a great job of promoting the renewable/recycle/reuse ethos very well. Their site is split into distinct sections, covering:
- Ideas – with an absolutely massive repertoire of UGC (user generated content) in the form of recycling ideas, innovative uses for household surplus and other similar items
- A thriving forum for likeminded types to discuss all things renewable
- A local section dedicated to promoting recycling/reusing in your area (including an A-Z directory)
- An articles area, though it doesn’t seem to have been updated much recently
- A shop
Definitely worth a look if you have some spare time, and best of all - it’s free to register and view content & ideas. Good work!
